The primary program

Today was the primary program and Bryson did a great job on his part. His line was I can be more like Jesus by helping with my little sister. Britton's part was to sing I am a Child of God in spanish with his class and they did a wonderful job. Britton has such a sweet little singing voice I love to hear him sing. Britton and Bryson both sat very still and sang so good we were very proud of the great job they did. Parker was also asked to get up and sing. Now remember Parker is only three and he is in senior nursery. They had all the senior nursery kids come up and stand on the steps and sing I am a child of God. So Parker and Ethan go up together and Ethan starts singing and Parker decides that Ethan shouldn't be singing so he puts he hand over Ethans mouth. Then he desides that he is going to jump up and down. Parker is such a character. I'm glad that they were only involved in the program for a moment, or he might have entertained the whole ward and not in a good way.

Happy Birthday Grandma Sally

Happy Birthday Grandma Sally, we love you. I love the saying, All because two people fell in love. I think of that saying when I look at Grandpa and Grandma. We have such a great family and always have such and good time together. They are such amazing examples of everything I want in my life and in my family. Thank you Grandpa ad Grandma for raising your family the way you have done.
We had a nice birthday party for Grandma at Michelle's house. It was wonderful to see all the cousins and let the kids play. Thanks Michelle for hosting the party, I know that it is hard having that many people over. We love getting together with the extended family. My boys were so excited once they realized they were going to Jeff's house.

The newest addition to the McCormack Family

At Hillary's birthday party the two new additions were introducted. Brian and Hillary got two adorable puppies. They are so tiny. The kids were so excited and couldn't get enough of them. Abby loved holding them.

Parker was really careful and loved the puppies.

Bryson was wishing we could take one home with us.

Even Britton touched the puppies. Thanks Brian and Hillary for bringing the puppies, you made the kids day.

Girls Night Out!!!

Today we went to the Women's Relief Society Broadcast. It was such a great night. I loved Elder Uchtdorf's talk. I loved the story about cooking. Dan and I have that conversation so much. He says I always can find something wrong with my meal, or an apology for the way something turned out. I loved the counsel for creating something. I want to beautify my yard and house. The story he told about the saints and coming to the valley and President Young telling the people to plant trees and crops and flowers, take what is yours and make it beautiful. I love to work in my yard but this year I have not taken the time I should with it.
After the broadcast Amy, Cassie, Mom and I went to Red Robin and had a great time. We had dinner and laughed and just enjoyed being together. We are so blessed to live so close(we miss Julie so much and its times like this that make it even harder). I love the sisterhood we have in the Relief Society and I am so glad that I am apart of the largest women's organization in the world.

Bryson's first field trip

Bryson's preschool class had there first fieldtrip today and he had so much fun. They went to Hill Air Force Base Musuem. Bryson's favorite plane this time was the Batman plane. The pilots last name was Bateman so his nickname was Batman. It was a fun to see all the different planes they played an I spy game while they looked around and that made it even more fun.

This is Bryson's class, his teacher's name is Miss Angela.

Bryson's class was also able to go inside one of the helicopters he thought that was pretty cool.

Thanks to Bryson's class for being such good listeners and to Miss Angela for all the hard work she does for Bryson.

The morning routine

Every morning Abby wakes up before Parker and they share a room, so I will go in and get her and close the door behind us so Parker can continue to sleep. But Abby will always find her way back into their room and climb into bed with Parker. Most of the time she will wake him up while climbing in bed but some mornings I am able to get her out without waking Parker. She is always so proud of herself. I love to see them cuddling together.

International Night with the Gardner's

We always have such a great time when we get together with Dan's family. It was our turn to plan the monthly family party so we picked International Night. Brett and Emilie choose this theme a while back and we loved it so we thought we would try it again. Of course Abby got sick with a sinus infection so Abby and I were unable to go but everyone had a great time. We made an Italian dish one of my favorites that my Grandma would make. Gnocchi's with homemade spaghetti sauce. There were many different dishes German, Swedish, some seafood. The family always enjoys just being together. And of course there is always homemade ice cream.

The girls, aren't they all so cute.

Bryson's working on his balancing act.

Dan's dad Ed.

Dan's Mom Janice.
I'm sorry I missed out, can't wait for next month.

Activity Days!

I am loving my calling. I love the little girls in our ward and they have such a sweetness about them. We combine the 8-11 year olds. Our leader is very organized and me and another woman in our ward are the helpers. I have always loved serving in the Young Women's and this is pretty close to that. This week I was in charge and the activity was following the prophet. We read the conference address from President Monson, then we played a game. I am grateful for his calling because it helps me to grow and strengthens my testimony as I study the lessons I'm preparing to teach the girls. If anyone has ever been in this calling I would love activity ideas.

School Carnival

Britton's school carnival was so much fun. Every year the school does the carnival as a fund raiser. The kids had a lot of fun playing on the slides, jumping in the bounce house, running through the obstacle course, playing a few games to try to earn a prize, eating snow cones and playing on the playground. This year Abby was able to join in on the fun and she loved it.
Here's Britton running around the mushroom.

Abby realizing she can bounce.

Bryson had so much fun, he's always ready for a picture.

Parker getting a little air, he's so small he bounces twice as high as anyone else.

Dan taking Abby on the slide, she loved it. They went down it again and again.

Britton preparing for a trick.

Bryson nice landing.

Parker looks like he's catching a wave.

Just a thought!

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. I don't know why but sometimes life is just to serious. I have such a good life. But sometimes its so easy to get caught up in all the day to day things and forget what really matters. I don't need the huge house on the hill, the fancy car, the custom decorated house, the perfected cleaned and organized house, the perfect yard with no weeds and no dead spots on the grass, the children who never have a temper moment, all I need is what I have at this very moment. I have a wonderful husband, four beautiful children and the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Everyone has different needs and desires and that is what makes so all so different. What's right for one isn't the best for another and the same goes for kids. What works with one kid doesn't always work for the next. I have a couple of friends who lately have touched my life so much and I thank them for that. I love the blogging and the chance to learn and grow from each other. Thanks.

Our Abby Girl!!!

Abby is such a girl and I am loving it. I found these wings and skirt at Dollar Tree and she wore them for hours. She loves babies, her stroller, her tea set and so many other girl things and she is only 14 months. I am loving having a little girly girl.

Soccer season comes to a start

Today we started the saturday morning crazy schedule. We now get to watch to boys play soccer and we are so excited the season is beginning. Britton loves soccer and gets so excited for practice each week and the game day. Bryson is playing for the first time and gets to play on the same team as Carter(his cousin).
Bryson's team is called Black-out.

Britton's team is called Green Lazers.

Bryson played so good. He even scored a goal with the help of Carter and Parker, his team mates. We weren't quite sure who actually scored the goal because all three boys were kicking at the same time and were all right in the goal.

Britton scored a goal for his team and played awesome.

Look at that cute face. He was so happy to be at soccer. He got so upset when it was his turn to sit out, he had to sit out twice in this game because everyone has to sit out twice, once during the season and sad for him it was the first game.

We look forward to seeing the boys play next week. I love being a soccer mom.

Bryson starts school!!!

Bryson started pre-school today. He is going to a kindermusik school. He was so excited for the day. He couldn't get their fast enough. We had to take Britton to school and we walked then walked Bryson to his school, I've never seen Bryson run so fast he was so worried that we were going to be late. He had a great day and was picked to be the puppet helper. Bryson is such a good boy and we are excited for this new adventure he will be having.
Bryson found his color on the rug and got his books and was ready for school to start.

His bag the teacher made him.
I love Bryson's cool lean.

I had a little bit of a hard time, seeing him go to school. I love having the kids home and I blink and they grow up.
